The school adoption took a very exciting turn in 2024 when Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust turned its focus on Zila Parishad School. And that is when it was realized that a lot many things need to be done for the Zila Parishad Schools, particularly in the tribal areas, if we want a transformational change and which would have a lasting effect on the students and their surroundings.

In our first visit to the Zila Parishad School at Gondade, we realized that a primary school (from std 1 – std 4) comprising of 25 students does not have toilets! For those living in cities .. such a scenario is beyond comprehension. Needless to say, Mai Hu Na in consultation with Zila Parishad officials adopted the school and the rest is for you to see in the pictures below.
