Zila Parishad School Pachapur has 200 plus students (boys & girls) from class 1 to class 7. Before 2024, this school did not have a functional washroom. After Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust adopted the school, the first thing they did was to construct proper washrooms for boys and girls. And the activity was not limited to construction of the washrooms but ensuring monthly supply of cleaning materials so that the washrooms are maintained in clean and hygienic manner.
Within the 1st week of the start of the academic session, Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust gave school kits comprising of school bag, raincoat, entire years’ exercise books, and related stationary items and geometry boxes to all the students.
The classrooms were very poorly lit and as a result the students experienced great difficulty in their studies. Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust overhauled the entire electrical set-up in the classrooms and today all the classrooms are very well lit with new fans installed so that the students do not feel suffocated.
Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust also installed sanitary pad vending machine and first aid kit boxes with supplies.
New washrooms, school kits, well-lit classrooms, sanitary pad vending machine and first aid kits .. all these have resulted in less absenteeism.
As a principal of this Zila Parishad School, I am thankful to all the trustees of Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust for such great support and wish they continue to do so in the coming years.
With the support of Mai hu na Charitable Trust, our school received well-equipped toilets and they also repaired building roofing.
Because of this, the students’ health improved, and they began coming to school willingly.
An interest in studies was developed.”
The students’ attendance started increasing, and after receiving the educational kit, the students began engaging more deeply in their studies.
