Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust
Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust is committed to the highest standards of accountability, integrity, and transparency in all its financial practices. We believe that open and ethical financial conduct is essential for building trust with beneficiaries, donors, government agencies, partners, and the wider community.
1. Commitment to Transparency
The Trust publishes its audited financial statements, including the Audit Report, Balance Sheet, Income & Expenditure Statement, and Receipts & Payments Account every financial year.
These documents are made available for public viewing on the Trust’s official website under the “Financials” section.
All financial reporting is in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards, applicable Charitable Trust regulations, and guidelines of the Income Tax Act and CSR Rules.
2. Controlled Access to Prevent Misuse
While our audited financials are fully accessible online, the Trust has intentionally disabled the download option to prevent:
fraudulent use of our financial records,
unauthorized reproduction or alteration of documents,
misuse of Trust identity, registration details, or financial data for unlawful purposes.
Genuine donors or CSR partners may request a downloadable or certified copy directly from the Trust for compliance purposes. Such requests are processed promptly.
3. Annual Independent Audit
The Trust undergoes an independent audit each year, conducted by a Chartered Accountant registered with ICAI.
The auditor examines all accounts, documentation, utilization of funds, and ensures compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
The audit findings are disclosed without modification or concealment.
4. Responsible Use of Donations
All donations are used strictly for approved charitable activities, including education, school adoption, medical support, women empowerment and community welfare programmes.
The utilization of funds follows internal controls, trustee approvals, and activity-wise budgeting.
5. Compliance with Government Regulations
Mai Hu Na Charitable Trust complies with:
Bombay Public Trusts Act,
Income Tax Act (12A & 80G requirements),
CSR Rules as per Companies Act 2013,
