The Covid 19 pandemic struck the world in 2020, bringing it to a standstill. Typhoons and cyclones also brought devastation in their wake, leaving a large part of the population destitute, helpless, jobless and hopeless. Team Mai Hu Na stepped in to provide food to those who had none, through provision bags containing groceries sufficient for a family of four for a week. Though the crisis is over, a large part of the populace is dependent upon the Anna Daan program, so that their children do not have to go to bed hungry.
